Club News & Announcements
Our most recent meeting was held at Home Plate on March 28. It was our annual dinner to celebrate the Taunton High Interact Club. We were joined by several Interact Club members, staff advisor Debbie Logan, and her husband Mike as guests. President Joe ran the meeting.
One of our favorite events of the year, our Interact Dinner is a chance to connect with the Interact Club, thank them for being an important part of Rotary, and hear about the great work they are doing! Our club liaison, Will Mendonca, shared some stats about Interact including their global presence with 14,000+ clubs in 145 countries with more than 343,000 Interactors worldwide.
We also got to hear from members of the club's board, who recapped the busy year they have had as well as several projects coming up before the end of the school year. If you are able, please help with the upcoming blood drive (flyer below and online here) on May 4th. Donors are needed as is your help to spread the word!
Rotarians and Interact members alike offered our thanks to Debbie Logan who has been an amazing partner and a key reason why the club has grown as well as it has.

Our club's High School Scholarship form is now available! It has been sent to area guidance offices and can be downloaded from our website here. Our review committee's two main considerations are need and community service. High school seniors at Bridgwater-Raynham, Bristol County Agricultural, Bristol-Plymouth Technical, Dighton-Rehoboth, or Taunton High School are encouraged to apply.

These forms can all be found on our club website, and will continue to be linked in this space through the event! Please keep Dave in the loop as you secure sponsors and ads. And be sure to reach out with any questions. Our fundraising goal is only possible if everyone is a part of the process!
Carol Souza had 3 happy bucks because that was in her wallet She would have put in $1,000 if it had been in there. Her bucks are because she is going to be a great-grandmother in September!
Ed had a buck to see Mike Logan, and a buck to say "thank you" to the Interact Club because what they do matters!
Debbie Logan had 3 sad bucks-one for each of the seniors who will be graduating at the end of the year. They are wonderful and she is sad to see them go.
Joe M. had a happy 10. One was to echo parts of the presentation sharing how Rotary truly is a welcoming place worldwide--he has done makeups at Rotary Clubs in Lithuania, Portugal, and around Massachusetts. And the rest of his bucks was for the Interact Club. Joe has been part of our entire history with the Taunton High Interact, and it's a highlight of his Rotary year to celebrate with them!
