Our most recent meeting was held at Home Plate on April 4. President Joe ran the meeting and we welcomed Visiting Rotarian John B. and well as John D.'s guest Matt Walsh, our speaker Ed Doherty, and his wife, Joanne.

President Joe thanked everyone who was able to attend our recent Interact Dinner--which is always a great night!

This week's meeting is our next Family Fun Day planning meeting. Please attend if you can as this is our biggest event of the year and we need lots of hands to make it a success.

Our April 25th evening meeting location meeting is TBD so stay tuned for an announcement soon.

A reminder: our club's High School Scholarship form is now available! It has been sent to area guidance offices and can be downloaded from our website here. Our review committee's two main considerations are need and community service. High school seniors at Bridgewater-Raynham, Bristol County Agricultural, Bristol-Plymouth Technical, Dighton-Rehoboth, or Taunton High School are encouraged to apply.

...we welcomed Ed Doherty as our speaker. A former Clerk Magistrate, Ed helped start jury court in Attleboro. Since he has retired from the courts, he started writing for magazines and other publications and has published a couple of books. Ed entertained us with some humorous stories from his books. He also shared that a portion of sales goes to a Jane Doe group to help battered women. We enjoyed hearing Ed's presentation and thank him for joining us!

John B. had a happy buck to be at the meeting and a happy buck for the Celtics.
Mike C. had a happy buck for making today's meeting and a sad buck to be missing the next few.
Dave C. had a sad buck that his son's season ended with a heartbreaking 5-4 OT loss even though he scored 54 goals this year! Dave was also happy that hockey season is over!
George had a happy buck because he thought we would struggle through the God Bless America but Johnny B pulled us through.
Dick had a sad buck that Kentucky lost in the first round of March Madness and a happy buck that the Women's' Tournament has been excellent to watch.
John D was happy to be here and happy to have Matt join him for lunch.
Joe had a happy buck because he was glad everyone showed up.
