Happy Bucks
Did you know that your happy and sad bucks help the club make a donation to the Rotary Foundation?
  • Zulmira was happy for the Red Sox reaching 100 wins and clinching a playoff spot.
  • Charlene Jarest was happy to be visiting and happy to see so many people in the room!
  • Dick Shafer had an update buck. Good things happening in Downtown. In the past week, there has been the opening of The District Center for the Arts and the new Pearl restaurant.
  • Dan L. was charged $5 for his AHS announcements about upcoming events. He was also sad to have to miss next week, but happy that his grandson's start to kindergarten has gone well.
  • Carmen was that after months of waiting BCC received a workforce training grant from the state. Congrats!
  • Carol Sousa was happy to be with us. She also had a buck because she has been to the new Pearl restaurant. It was delicious and beautiful!
  • Joe Livingston had a "Go Yankees" buck and a buck for being disappointed in Ereck Flowers. He also had a sad buck because he was supposed to be attending a wedding in North Carolina this weekend, but is going to miss because of the hurricane.
  • Darrell had a happy buck for just having come back from a fun first birthday party in Baltimore for his grandson.
  • Saving the best for last, Dave T. had a sad buck for missing most of the last year of Rotary. He had a few happy bucks too: Happy to be here today. Happy to be done with treatment. And happy to be cancer free. From all of us, Dave, the biggest congrats and welcome back!
