From the President

Our most recent meeting was held on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Stoneforge. This week we look forward to welcoming Taunton Superintendent of Schools John Cabral.

Promo flyers and the Pancake and Family Fun Day Sponsor Form are posted to our website. On the home page, they are on the left-hand column. If you know of a business that may want to sponsor, chat with Dave C. and this is the form they will need to return!

Upcoming calendar items:

Tree planting event coming up this spring.
April 13 there is a District Assembly at Whites at Westport.
April 25 is the Pro-Home "Splash of Spring" event. There is no lunch meeting that day. Instead, Rotarians receive one ticket to the event at Quality Beverage. There are extra tickets available for sale if you know of someone who may like to attend.
On May 2 we will have our meeting at P.R.I.D.E. This meeting will start at 11 am with group activities (sign up if you have special skills to share) followed by lunch.
May 3rd - 4th is our District Conference 2019 at The Doubletree Hotel in Danvers Mass. We can get you more info if you are interested in attending
Joe's installation as AG will be June 17.

Last Week's Speaker

At our most recent meeting, the club held a spelling bee. After correctly spelling "soliloquy," Jody Fiore, Bob Resendez, and Julie Ochs were announced as the winners and will represent Rotary at the TASC Spelling Bee on 4/10. Joe Mitchell will serve as the team back up. Congrats and thanks to everyone who participated!
