This Thursday is our 100th Anniversary Celebration! The fun begins at 5:30 at the Holiday Inn!

At the time of our meeting we collected some more candy for the Interact Club. They will be participating in the City of Taunton's Trunk-or-Treat this Saturday in Downtown Taunton. We wish them well and hope it is a great time!

President Bob recognized Bob Hunt's 45th Rotary Anniversary today!

Dan LeBrun reminded club members to let him know if they have any interesting Rotary memorabilia they would like to bring to the 100th Anniversary Celebration. There will be a display at the event to which members are welcome to contribute.

Mark your calendars! Our Christmas event at Taunton High will be December 2. With holidays in November, we do not have too many meetings between now and then, so check your calendars. Ed will be looking for RSVPs to coordinate lunch, soon.

Finally, there is a special program planned for for New Rotarians in District 7950. Three distinguished Past District Governors: PDG Joe Clancy, RC Weymouth; PDG Charlie Murphy, RC Fairhaven; and PDG Valerie Perry, RC East Providence/ Seekonk - have joined ranks to prepare and lead sessions introducing newer members to insights about our organization you may not have learned. If you join Rotary in the past two years you will be interested in this opportunity. The meeting will be on Zoom on November 9 at 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. ...we welcomed Rachel Corcoran of COTA Travel.

Rachel is the CEO/Travel Companion at COTA Travel. She assists people with mobility issues and other challenges to safely and happily travel with dignity, making sure that they are enjoying every part of their accessible daytrip, weekender, or full weeks long vacation. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who loves to travel, her work blends her two passions and offers a valuable service for some of our most vulnerable populations. Bob Hunt had a happy five bucks for his Rotary Anniversary.
Carol Souza had a sad buck for recently falling off the candy corn wagon after two successful years avoiding it!
Joe Mitchell had a buck for the Rotary Foundation Minute, and a second for an exciting start to the Celtics season.
Shavon had a buck for her cousin who is on the Knicks, and beat the Celtics in their season opened in 2OT. And she had a buck for her son.
Dan LeBrun had two bucks. He had an update on the 100th (Thursday, October 28 5:30- 8:30) and a happy buck for his wife who gets a husband to help around the house again in 7.5 days.
