President Joe spoke briefly about the Rotary Foundation and then asked Carol Sullivan to give an update on our Club's Annual Backpack project. Carol reported that she and Mike Tabak completed the project on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Carol and Mike began the day by stopping by Morton Hospital to pick up several boxes of donated school supplies. From Morton, they proceeded to the Raynham Flea Market to meet Rotarian Christine Kelley and crew to unload the supplies and begin stuffing 85 backpacks. Once all the backpacks were stuffed with all kinds of donated school supplies Carol and Mike delivered them to Triumph-Headstart, the Boys & Girls Club Metro South, Girls, Inc., and the Taunton YMCA. Carol thanked the many individuals, companies, and Club members who contributed cash donations and supplies to make our Club's Annual Back Pack project a huge success.
