Our most recent meeting was held on May 22, 2025 and led by President George Mendros.
Ed Fowler took to the floor to give us an update on the gifts for our scholarship, Honors Night, and Interact students. Ed and Carol Sullivan have been doing research and have presented the membership with several options. The consensus is that we order portable chargers with multiple outlets at $16.00 per student.
Dave C. shared a Family Fun Day update: The volunteer sheet is live--please sign up. If you know of a place to add a flyer, click here to print and share. We are at more than $18,000 in Sponsorships- Way to go!

At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...we welcomed Past President Bob Rezendes who was filling in for Dr. Sedgwick L. Harris, President of BCC. Bob, Dean of BCC's Taunton Campus, gave us a comprehensive update. To gain perspective, BCC's new president Dr. Harris has been hosting meetings and making the rounds to meet department heads and faculty to discuss new ventures, curriculum, academic offerings, scope and sequence, enrollment, college services as well as vocational offerings. He is looking for a input in order to enhance BCC's future. There was a lot of Q & A, especially regarding where the new BCC Taunton campus would be located. Bob indicated that a location close to downtown is preferable. This will be one of many moves the Taunton campus has endured in the past few years. The Taunton campus has an enrollment of 600 day and night students and that number should increase to about 700 students. There is a great deal of hope, promise and vision for the future of BCC's new Taunton campus. Our membership was treated to a very interesting and informative presentation. Kudos to Bob for stepping up in the spirit of "Service above Self" and treating our membership to a great presentation. You can learn more at https://www.bristolcc.edu

Ed contributed some Happy Bucks to share that he'll be cheering on his granddaughter at several softball tournaments this weekend, with games scheduled day and night on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Mike C. donated Happy Bucks in honor of his daughter’s prom. His family hosted a group of 16- to 18-year-old girls for the big night, which gave Mike and his son some quality father-son time.
John D. tossed in some Happy Bucks after enjoying a great dinner at Rocky Knoll.
Bob R. shared Happy Bucks in celebration of BCC’s commencement exercises—his favorite time of year as an educator.
And we’re pretty sure John Danhey is still celebrating with some “It’s a boy!” Happy Bucks!
