From the President

At our most recent meeting on July 26, 2018 President Joe Livingston shared that the speaker rotation is coming soon.

There are plans in the works for an evening social event at the end of August

For your long-term planning purposes, we're looking to do a join meeting with Kiwanis on September 25 and a joint PRIDE event at the beginning of October.

Also, Ed Valadeo says "hi" and we sent a Get Well Soon card his way.

Last Week's Speaker

At our most recent meeting, City Councillor John McCaul was our speaker. He gave us some insight into his background, professional career, and service work throughout Taunton. It was great to welcome John, and and we look forward to a joint Kiwanis meeting in the fall.

Happy Bucks

Did you know that your happy and sad bucks help the club make a donation to the Rotary Foundation?

Joe Mitchell had a happy 5. He hasn't seen us since Family Fun Day, but he wanted everyone to know he got him trouble at Wipeout for not being compassionate enough. He has spent the last three weeks in Portugal, and continue to be busy as he is moving in August!
Johnny B. had a happy to be here buck. He also had a vacation buck as he is off to a jazz festival this week. Enjoy!
Darryl had a happy buck as the family is enjoying parties this summer to celebrate his son's marriage. Congrats!
Dan L. had a half-happy/half-sad buck. He is sad that he is going to be away and miss our meeting next week, but happy to be on his way to SoulFest, the largest contemporary Christian music festival in New England.
Ed had a happy buck to welcome John McCaul.
Joe Livingston had a happy 5 bucks. He is off to Pennsylvania to visit his grandfather and see a NASCAR race at Pocono Raceway.
