Our most recent club meeting was held on September 11 and led by President Bob.
The Unite for Purpose event was this past weekend. Our club was represented by Joe and Zulmira—thank you both for attending on our behalf.
This month’s evening social will be held at La Familia on September 25.
Bob wished a very happy birthday and Rotary anniversary to all our members celebrating in September!
We received a lovely thank-you card from the District Governor Brien following her recent visit. It was wonderful to host her and share the great work our club is doing.

At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...we were pleased to welcome Catherine DeTerra, Chair of Leadership South Coast, as our guest speaker. Catherine shared insights about the program’s mission to develop, connect, and inspire community leaders across the South Coast. She highlighted the impact of their leadership training and alumni network in strengthening local organizations and fostering regional collaboration. Zulmira gave a buck for Carol, who recently had surgery; she is doing well and sends her greetings to everyone.
Mike C. shared that he was sad to miss the board meeting but was able to attend an advocacy conference in Washington, D.C., and he gave a buck for Catherine DeTerra for being here today.
Dave C. was happy to share that Debbie Logan recently received a career achievement award from TPS, gave a buck for Bob’s red shoes, celebrated the start of 40 weeks of hockey, and was happy to have Catherine here today.
Sarah gave a happy buck for her new white Ford Bronco and shared that the CDBS program will be relocating to Ingell Street next week.
Mike T. celebrated his grandson turning two during a recent trip to Boulder, Colorado.
Dick shared that his daughter got a new car, and he's glad that means it will now be their main vehicle for road trips.
