The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be Tuesday, January 11. This meeting will take place on Zoom and anyone who would like to join is welcome--just reach out to Bob for the Zoom link.
One of the topics to be discussed is whether our meetings will shift back to Zoom for a few weeks because of the current rates of COVID-19. Please keep an eye on your email as any changes will be communicated once a decision is made.
We were able to thank Matt, and offer him our collection of tips for the great job he does for us all year.
The annual Providence Bruins game that supports Rotary is coming up on Friday, February 11th at 7:05 vs Rochester. Tickets are $20 and if you are interested you can learn more at www.ProvidenceBruins.com/Rotary.
And finally, the club extends our sympathies to Dave Tipping and Kit Tunney for their recent losses.
At our most recent meeting...
President Bob Rezendes shared a Mid-Year Report with the club. He highlighted the service projects that have taken place throughout the first half of his year, most notably the 100th celebration this past October that was such a great success with the help of Past President Dan. We all congratulated Bob on the first half of his year and look forward to the second half!
Happy/Sad Bucks
Katie had a thank you buck to John and everyone at Nerds to Go for recently facilitating a "e-waste" disposal that was years overdue.
Joe had a "happy to be here" buck and a sad buck because it feels like in-person meetings may be going away again for a while.
John was happy for Katie's happy buck, and happy that Nerds to Go is growing.
Will had a thank you buck for Ed's efforts to make the holiday luncheon at the high school a success. And he had a happy buck for recently attending a Patriots game with his daughter to celebrate her 16th birthday and having their photo make it onto the big screen!
Ed had a sad buck for two of his Coyle-Cassidy classmates who recently passed away and a sad buck for the passing of Chief Westcoat.
