At Our Most Recent Meeting...

...we welcomed Michelle Stratton from The Center on Main. Michelle shared updates on the organization's continued focus on hospitality and connection. She emphasized the vision of the Center as a welcoming “third space” where the public can host and participate in community programs. Renovations are ongoing, with plans to complete the multipurpose rooms and back loft, as well as to add an off-sidewalk patio space and a front deck to enhance the building’s accessibility and appeal.

Happy & Sad Bucks

  • Joe M. had a bittersweet week—sad for Jayson Tatum, but happy about last night’s win!
  • Carol Sullivan had two happy bucks: her granddaughters finished their first year of college, and Meghan had a good school year, and will be teaching 4th grade next year. Plus, her Narragansett renters are moving out next week, so the place is all hers (and her grandkids) for the summer!
  • Dick had an info buck that the Taunton River Festival boat rides are sold out! With 75 tables and great music lined up, it’s sure to be a fantastic time. All are welcome!
  • Dave had a sad buck that he missed out on the boat tours, but happy for our guest speaker. A big shout-out to The Center on Main—a wonderful new addition to downtown.
  • John D. is celebrating with a happy “It’s a boy!” buck.
  • Ed had a buck in honor of Maureen’s successful foot operation—wishing her a speedy recovery!
  • Mike T. had a grateful buck for a recent helping hand—thanks to Jody, who he ran into at Plymouth Probate, who carried in some paperwork for him, saving him a trip through security!
