There is a Virtual Zone Summit coming up in November. Details can be found on this flyer:
The THS Interact Club is looking for candy donations! They will be joining in the City's Trunk or Treat this year, and need candy to distribute. If you or your business have some to donate, you can bring it to a meeting and we will get it to them!
Our 100th Celebration is now less than two weeks away!
The event is October 28th at the Holiday Inn.
If anyone has Rotary memorabilia to display, please let Dan know.
We were able to sing Happy Birthday to Jody. (belatedly).
At our most recent meeting...
...we welcomed Patty Pfeiffer and Mary Pat Tranter from Morton Hospital. They gave an update on Morton which included lots of new physicians joining the team and great customer service scores of the past year. We appreciate their involvement as a Corporate Member and their update at today's meeting.
Happy/Sad Bucks
Carol Souza had 3 happy just because she's happy today.
Dan had a happy buck for a new 100th Celebration sponsor and that we are up to just about 100 attendees.
Dick had an info buck for the Liberty and Union Festival happening on Saturday from 12-4 and the Taunton Civic Chorus fundraiser on Tuesday.
Jody had 5 Happy Bucks for his recent birthday. He also shares a birthday with John Lennon and got to see a Beatles tribute group in Boston to celebrate.
Bob Hunt, not to be outdone, added a happy buck because he shares a birthday with Dolly Parton.
Bob R. had happy bucks to share that Bristol will be adding some new activities to the Taunton location including a basketball game in November and a theater production next spring.
Carol Sullivan had a sad buck that her daughter and son-in-law were in a car accident on the Mass Pike, but happy that they are ok and that their kids were not with them when it happened!
Dave C. had 10 belated happy bucks for Claire Fowler as it was his first meeting since the great report about Claire's health.
Ed had a happy buck that since Claire is recovering they get to travel, and they were able to get up to New Hampshire during peak foliage and it was gorgeous. He was sad to not win an auction for a Taunton bill in a recent international auction, but it ended up going for $36,000!
