We enjoyed a Rotary Foundation Minute with Joe Mitchell about Rotary's World Fund.

At our most recent meeting...

After a few minutes of fellowship recounting the holidays, President Dan offered his mid-year report.

He mentioned that Donations to Our Daily Bread and Raynham Food Pantry as Rotary presidents transitioned was a positive way to start off his term. We then made some administrative changes such as meeting on Zoom and shifting the start time to noon to adjust to the COVID-19 pandemic. A key message of the past 6 months is that we have continued to be a service organization for the community. We have gathered and donated a number of things including backpacks, masks, mittens, food, and toys for kids. We have also worked with the Interact Club, held classification talks, enjoyed a trans-Atlantic meeting with Taunton, England; learned from Jody's history presentations; shared with interesting speakers, donated to hurricane relief, and even opened a club Venmo account.

As we look forward to the 100th year we have, so far, received $26,000 towards a celebration. The calendar year of 2020 ended on a positive and musical note for our club and we are optimistic and enthusiastic about what comes next.
