At our most recent meeting, Thursday July 20 an informal meeting was held where the Rotarians present enjoyed a “thanksgiving style” dinner with all the “fixins”. President Joe and the Narragansett Council of Boy Scouts served us a complete sit-down dinner in one of the Camps dining halls. It was quite a feast.
Prior to dinner, we were given a brief tour by President Joe followed by attending the Boy Scout’s “Flag Ceremony." After dinner President Joe convened the Club’s Board of Directors for its’ first meeting during his year. The Board met outside in a picnic-like setting and discussed plans for the upcoming year.
At the conclusion of the Board’s meeting, President Joe invited Board members to partake in a variety of activities at Camp Cachalot, from archery to the rifle range. Special thanks to President Joe Livingston, the Narragansett Council of Boy Scouts, and the staff at Camp Cachalot for hosting our Rotary Meeting and the Board of Director’s Meeting. A wonderful time was had by all in attendance.
