Happy Bucks
Did you know that your happy and sad bucks help the club make a donation to the Rotary Foundation?
  • Joe Mitchell had a happy buck for Dan's successful TASC dinner. He also had a happy buck for the upcoming Rotary Foundation Dinner, which is always a great event. He will be buying tickets, so if you want to go, please be in touch with Joe.
  • Dick Shafer had a happy buck for the latest groundbreaking at Myles Standish Industrial Park, which will be welcoming NN Inc.
  • Harry also had a happy buck for Dan's efforts. He also had a happy buck for the Red Sox two World Series wins at the time of the meeting.
  • Dan was himself happy for a successful TASC dinner and for the 11 Rotarians who attended and supported.
  • Dave Tipping had a happy buck for his daughter's recent wedding and the fact that he was healthy enough to walk her down the aisle. Congrats, Dave!
  • Johnny B had several bucks. He was happy that he was able to go and support Joe Livingston  in the Attleboro Community Theater's production of "Inherit the Wind." He was sad that he discovered it was sold out when he arrived. He was happy to be able to grab a copy of the playbill and read about Joe. But he was then sad again that Joe's bio ended with "Go Giants."
  • Carol Sullivan also had a happy buck for Dan. She also had a proud buck that her grandson came in first in his cross country meet and qualified for the tri-county meet.
  • Joe L. added his congrats buck to Dan. He also had a thank you buck to Joe Mitchell for MC'ing a Boy Scout breakfast event. He was also happy that the Giants seems to be trading all their players.
  • Darrell had a buck for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
  • Zulmira had a happy buck for Dan. She also wanted to thank the Rotarians who supported this event. She also had $2 for the first two Red Sox wins in the World Series.
  • John D. had a thank you buck in support of AHS and all of their early intervention work with his son. Because of their work, he is adding more inclusion classes to his schedule and making great strides in school.
  • Cameron had 3 bucks. The first was happy for having the cash to donate some bucks. The second was sad, and in memory of his best friend's father, Brian, who recently lost a three-year battle with colon cancer at the age of 48. The final buck was happy because Mighican beat Michigan State and putting together a good season ahead of the CFB playoffs.
