A Board of Directors meeting immediately followed our club meeting. All members were invited to attend.

At our most recent meeting...
At our most recent meeting, we welcomed Carol Doherty - State Rep. - Third Bristol, Consisting of Easton: Precinct 6, Taunton: Wards 1, 2, Ward 3: Precinct A, Wards 5, 7, 8.
Rep. Doherty shared her congratulations on our club's 100th Year Anniversary and mentioned that the Rotary's local charitable work and scholarship initiatives are to be admired. She shared some information about the current legislative practices during COVID--such as taking votes over the phone in pods! She also shared some of the work she is involved in, including her first oral testimony on behalf of the MA Nurses Association recently. Additionally, she shared her legislative objectives for her term, hopes for a smooth passage of the FY22 budget, and encouraged anyone who is interested in any of the legislation being debated to be in touch so they can get more involved. Dan shared an update from Ed that he and Claire are staying positive and appreciate the support.
Rebecca had two TASC Happy Bucks. The first was for the Virtual Spelling Bee which went well, and the second for TASC's Virtual Auction which ends on May 19. See the flyer section for more info.
