At our most recent meeting...
...we welcomed Angela Ponte who gave a presentation on the Rotary Foundation. Angela Ponte joined the Plymouth Rotary Club in 1992, before transferring to the Quincy Rotary Club in 1995, where she has served on the Board of Directors, Vice-President, President-Elect and Club President 2001-2002.
She served the District as a Chair of the Membership Committee and then as Assistant Governor 2003-2006. She then served as District Secretary for 7 years and has been a Facilitator at Northeast PETS training. She also traveled extensively around the District with the Club Visioning Facilitation Team 2008-2015 under the leadership of Past District Governor Terri Fitch of the Rotary Club of Newport.
In 2015, she became involved with the new International Rotary Action Group for Alzheimer’s and Dementia and currently serves as the Group Secretary.
Angela will serve as our District Governor during the 2023-2024 Rotary year.
This also marked the first meeting of the 2021-2022 Rotary Year and the first of Prez. Bob!
