Our most recent meeting was held on May 1, 2025. We were led by President-Elect Bob Rezendes.
Joe Mitchell and Bob Rezendes attended Rotary's second annual THRIVE forum this past weekend on behalf of our club. They learned about enhancing and increasing membership and focusing the club on service. One area Bob is investigating is a Food Insecurity initiative, which our club could consider as an additional service project next year. He will report back after his research mission in early May.
A reminder that the Multi-District conference is May 30- June 1. It is open to all Rotarians, and you can learn more here.

Our scholarship deadline was May 1. Katie and Bob will be meeting soon to review and select this year's recipients!

Rotary Day of Service. Area 7 (Rotary Clubs of Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Fall River, New Bedford and Taunton) will be collaborating with MS Walk: New Bedford on May 10th, 8:30am at Ft. Taber in New Bedford. Rotarians will be helping make the MS Walk a success by assisting with their walk-a-thon. Everyone is welcome to attend. âś… H&L Bloom shuttle is booked
âś… All necessary insurance is in place
âś… On-site planning meeting at Camp Riverside happening Friday
âś… QR code is being prepped for pre-registration & liability waiver
âś… Supplies being picked up at PRIDE
✅ Lawn signs are being updated—look for distribution next week!
✅ Flyer will be soon added to the weekly bulletin—please help spread the word!
âś… Katie is checking on the digital sign board and digital backpack announcements

Zulmira had a buck for the TASC raffle is on the table--thanks to everyone who has supported. She had an extra happy buck—her son is now engaged!
Dick had a buck for the Taunton Civic Chorus spring concert this Sunday at 4 PM, Friedman School
Santina had a happy buck for the Y recently taking 20 kids to Fenway Park.
Jody had a happy buck to be here after a few work conflicts, and a sad buck that he and his daughter were in a car accidence the night before. The car was totaled—but grateful to be okay and here today.
Will had a update buck for the Interact Club to share that today was the deadline for RYLA, and the 3 spots our club sponsored were all filled!
John is happy to soon be a grandfather, and also happy to be rekindling a work relationship with the Kraft Group in Foxboro.
Bob was happy that Bristol Community College hosted a Business After Hours with the Chamber, celebrating 10 years of the Taunton Center. It was a great night and he's excited about what's next!
