Club News & Announcements
Our most recent meeting was held on January 30, led by President George Mendros. He thanked the Rotarians who were able to go the Dan's services.
Reminder from the Taunton High Interact Club:
The Interact Club is hosting a Coat Drive! Bring your gently used winter gear items and bring them to our next meeting on February 6th meeting. Club liaison Will Mendonca will collect items and get them to the Interact Club.
Please note, the February 13 meeting with be at the Old Colony History Museum at noon. We will have lunch catered, and hear from a donation recipient.
At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...President George gave a mid-year report on the first six months of his presidency. He recapped efforts since July, including social meetings, donations, service projects, and events coming up like the Million Dollar Meal and Family Fun Day.
Also, we'll get back to monthly evening meetings in February. Please send suggestions if there are any places you'd like to visit.
Ed. Sorry to have missed last week and adding his condolences for Dan to those from last week. He was honored to have served as a pallbearer. He added a Happy buck for one of his happiest days ever when he got Carol with the dye pack trick recently.
Carol Sullivan had a sad buck for attending Dan's funeral and sorrow over his loss. She added a Happy buck for Kirstin's 19th birthday tomorrow, and that she'll be going to Maine with Kirstin and Becky to see a toboggan race in celebration.
Carol Souza had a Happy buck for having known Dan. She was touched by the beautiful ending to the collation, where people were invited to celebrate Dan’s life with a story.
Dave C. had a Thank you buck for Ed, who spoke on behalf of the club about what Dan meant to Rotary. He added an extra buck for Ed for all the stairs he had to navigate as a pallbearer.
George had a Sad buck that he didn't realize that Joe Mitchell would have done the report if he hadn’t shown up today.
John D. had a Happy Buck to have known Dan, a Sad Buck to lose him, and a Happy Buck that he’s not suffering.

Carol Sull did not win the 50/50 raffle.
