President Bob announced that we will not be meeting at Maureen Cody's home this coming Tuesday. The Board of Director's meeting will be a regular ZOOM meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 5:00 PM.
President Bob congratulated the following Rotarians for anniversaries: George Mendros for 28 years at Bristol County Savings Bank, Jody and Charlene Fiore on their 32nd wedding anniversary and Michael C. on his 1st anniversary as a member of our club.

...Family Fund Day Chairman David Correia updated the Club on Family Fun Day. We have collected over $14,000 in sponsors and advertisements, down slightly from last year. Dave estimates that we should net around $10,000 after expenses. Dave went over all the logistics regarding Family Fun Day and asked that all Club members and volunteers be at the site between 9:30 - 10:00 AM. Dave gave instructions regarding parking, the shuttle service, and volunteer assignments. Dave asked everyone to wear their Yellow Rotary T-shirts. Thanks and kudos to Dave for all his time, effort, and hard work in planning this year's Family Fun Day. Let's Go!
Happy & Sad Bucks
Joe Mitchell donated some Happy Bucks because he received an Email/Letter from the Rotary International Foundation thanking him for his support. Joe also gave us some information about the upcoming Installation of Officers for the 2023-2024 year. The Installation will take place at an evening meeting on June 29, 2023 at the Jockey Club.
Zulmira had some sad bucks to note the passing of fellow Rotarian John Danahey's father.
Dave Correia contributed Happy Bucks because things were going well for his son in sports. Dave also noted that Jack Leddy printed and donated all the placemats for Family Fun Day. Thanks Jack!
Julie Ochs tossed in a Sad buck because she will not be able to attend Family Fun Day.
Michael C. had Happy bucks for his son's graduation and all the events that went well regarding the graduation.
Dave Tipping donated some Happy Bucks because he ran into fellow Rotarian Mike Quinn and was pleased to see how well Mike is doing. Dave said Mike looked great.
George Mendros was pleased to donate some Happy Bucks because he's not married. Earlier President Bob congratulated George on 26 years of marital bliss.
Ed Fowler had many Happy and Sad Bucks: Ed's granddaughter Clara won the MVP award in a Bristol, RI softball tournament last week; Happy Bucks to honor Dave Correira's great chairmanship for Family Fun Day' and Sad Bucks because the Taunton West Little League parent, players, and bystanders grossly harassed the umpires. As a result, the Umpire's Association has pulled out of umpiring the West Little League games for the rest of the season.
Pres Bob had a happy buck to see all of the events going on from Family Fun Day to the River festival, to Taunton's Pride event, and all the things on the ACT calendar. And finally, a thank you buck to fellow Rotarians for their friendship at a hard time.
