From the President

Our most recent meeting was held on January 3, 2019 and President Joe Livingston presented his midyear review. He is pleased that we have received 4 new members so far this year. He was also pleased with our service project meeting at Marian Manor and is hoping for similar events with the Boys and Girls Club, the YMCA, and Old Colony History Museum. He is at work on a joint evening meeting with the Interact Club on February 7 and is in the process of planning another Splash of Spring event at Quality Beverage. He also extended thanks to Joe Mitchell for three years of hard work on Family Fun day.

President Joe will attend a taping of the cable show FYI with John McCaul on January 30 from 4 to 5:30. Members are welcome to join him.

The board will meet after our January 24 meeting. All are invited to attend and participate.

A romantic clam chowder Million Dollar Meal is scheduled for Valentine’s Day at Pilgrim Church.

This week will be a Pancake and Family Fun Day planning meeting. Committee chairs, please refer to Joe's email from before Christmas with questions for going forward. If you are not a committee chair, be sure you know which committee you are on and check in to see if you can be working on anything.

Happy Bucks

Did you know that your happy and sad bucks help the club make a donation to the Rotary Foundation?

Dick Shafer put in happy bucks for his vacation in Arizona.
Kit was happy to join with us again.
Ed Fowler was happy for his Christmas Day appearance on ABC from Disney and also for a special Rotary belt buckle that Anne Robertson gave him from Phil’s possessions.
Wil Mendonca asked for prayers for an ailing Harry Rose.
President Joe was happy for a four-day Christmas holiday with family in Pennsylvania and for the Giants’ high draft pick.
