Last week we welcomed Micaila Britto, Director of Veterans Services for the Town Of Raynham. In this role since May 2017, Micaila works as an advocate for the Town of Raynham’s veterans, dependents, and widows; providing access to every federal, state and local service & benefit to which they are entitled. She administers Massachusetts General Law Chapter 115 financial assistance and emergency financial aid to eligible veterans, dependents, and widows as well as assists eligible veterans in applying for state wartime bonuses and annuities. Micaila has worked to make Raynham a Purple Heart Community, provides access to a myriad of services for veterans and is working to add even more counseling and social opportunities for veterans. A retired Marine herself, we thank Micaila for her service and for sharing her work with the members of our club.

EdFowler had 2 happy bucks. The first was to say hi to so many friends. The second was that he had jury duty today. He saw Jan Alden (who says hi) and got dismissed in time to make it to Rotary!
Kit had 5 happy bucks. "Retirement is fantastic." She was happy to be visiting to say hi, and we were all glad to be able to hi back.
Darrell had a happy buck for his trip to Baltimore this weekend to celebrate his grandson turning 1!
Johnny B had 2 happy bucks. He was happy to be at a Rotary meeting. He was also happy his firm is growing with some new appraisers coming on board, including someone he trained 20 years ago who is now back. Congrats!
Dave C. had a happy buck for the start of football season.
Linda Quinn had a buck. She has a great new job, but misses everyone and was glad to come back to say hello!
Carol had 4 happy bucks to see so many people at the meeting. And she had a "good luck" buck about her upcoming kayak adventure with Kit!
Joe Livingston had a happy buck for being moved. He had a happy buck for his new staff member. And he said something about a mug he had.
Dan L. had a happy buck that his grandson reported a good first day of kindergarten. He had a happy buck for having just sent out the Rehearsal Dinner invitations for younger son's wedding. And he had a buck for the Red Sox and their great comeback.
Harry had a happy buck for his grandson who has accepted a new job at a new hospital. He also had a bittersweet buck because it means he'll leave Morton where he loved working.
