President-Elect George ran our weekly meeting. George mentioned the last time he stood in to run a meeting as President-Elect, it was just about 22 years ago, a few days after 9/11. He encouraged us all to remember that important date and not let it be forgotten.
A note about billing:
Rotary meals are going to be billed every 2 months going forward. That is more frequent than in the past, so we want to be sure that everyone has time to let their billing managers know: if they see more frequent bills, it isn't more billing it's just more frequent billing. If you have any questions you can talk with Joe, Maureen, or Ed.

An Interact update:
The Interact Club had a great first meeting of the year! And they are already off and running with service projects. The club will be collecting Coins for Cambodia again this year, and the students are asking Rotarians to save one-gallon milk or water jugs for them. They need the jugs so they can distribute one to each classroom, and collect coins in support of Water for Cambodia. Bring any jugs to a meeting, and Will is happy to get them to the Interact Club.
