Club News & Announcements

Our most recent meeting was held at Pilgrim Church where we celebrated our Million Dollar Meal.

A big thank you goes to Bob and Barbara Hunt for securing the use of the Pilgrim Church Hall and for preparing the delicious Clam ChowDAH for our Annual Million Dollar luncheon. Kudos to Foundation Chair Joe Mitchell for his informative Foundation Program talk. Our thanks also goes to the set-up committee: Bob and Barbara Hunt, Ed Fowler, Dick Shafer and Mike Tabak. Finally, a special thanks to Carol Sullivan for providing the sandwiches and to the many Rotarians who brought beverages and desserts.

President Bob thanked everyone who helped celebrate our friends at the Interact Club recently. One of their projects is ShelterBoxes for Ukraine, and he shared that as a club we will be contributing $1000 to their fundraising efforts.

A note, that we continue to experiment we'll be having April's and future evening social meetings on the 4th Thursday of the month (no longer the 3rd).

Our friends at the New Bedford Rotary Club are celebrating their 100th anniversary on April 15. If you'd like to attend, let Bob know, and we'll see about getting a table of Taunton Rotarians together.

We were pleased to welcome guests Charlene Fiore and Roberta Shafer to lunch, and Barbara Hunt who helped cook!
