Past President Bob Rezendes ran our meeting, which was held at The Jockey Club. We welcomed several guests from local organizations, who received a year-end donation from the Rotary Club of Taunton. (See below).

 

Also, over the past few weeks, Past President Dan has done some gifting on behalf of the club, distributing nearly 200 hand-knitted mittens to organizations throughout the city. Recipients include:

• Taunton YMCA
• Boys and Girls Club of Metro South
• Girls, Inc. 
• Triumph Head Start.
• CCBC, Community Counseling of Bristol County

 

A reminder that we will not meet for the next two Thursdays, and gather again on January 4, 2024, at Stoneforge. This will be our first planning meeting for Family Fun Day 2024!

Each year, as the culmination of our annual fundraising efforts, principally Family Fun Day, the club makes gifts to local non-profit organizations, embracing our motto of "Service Above Self."
