Club News & Announcements
Our most recent club meeting was held on April 16 at Stoneforge. The meeting was led by President Bob, and we welcomed Jen’s guest, Cameron Wilkins, a local realtor.
Bob thanked all the volunteers to make the Million Dollar Meal a delicious success. He also reminded members that the District Assembly is coming up on April 18, from 8:00 AM–12:30 PM, and will be held at the Bristol Community College Fall River Campus.
Ed gave a brief update on his process for developing the 2026–2027 slate of officers. We are always looking for a President-Elect and encourage members to consider getting more involved in club leadership.
Our end-of-year celebration is confirmed for Thursday, June 26 at Ward 5.
Finally, the Interact Club is running a sock drive. Donations of new socks can be brought to any upcoming meeting, and we will ensure they are delivered to Interact members for distribution.
The 2026 Rotary Scholarship Application is now live! It can be downloaded right from our website.
Family Fun Day Dave's Fundraising Update: We're up over $14,000 with more pledged!

At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...President Bob led a Club Assembly focused on a wide-ranging discussion about the future of the club. Topics included strategies for increasing member engagement, attracting new members, the cost of Rotary membership, and interest in participating in the Taunton Christmas Parade.
It was a great, free-flowing conversation that generated thoughtful ideas and energy, and it looks like there will be a part two to continue the discussion.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their perspectives.
Jenn had a Happy Buck for a closing this morning with a young couple in Attleboro. Also happy to have Cam visiting today.
Sarah had a sad buck for being late, followed by happy bucks for spring and for celebrating 20 years with her girlfriend next week.
Carol Sou. had a Happy Buck that people think she is assertive when she tells kids at the Christmas party that she’s “the boss.”
Will had Happy bucks for the Interact Club, which now has three confirmed students attending RYLA this year. Our club sponsors this program and is proud to continue the tradition.
Ed was Happy to be reaching out to members regarding next year’s officers. Also shared sad dollars in memory of his friend Carl Caron, who recently passed away.
Mike T. was Happy to see Linda LeBrun and Jaden at church. Shared sad thoughts for Harry Rose’s wife, who is not doing as well as she had been, and asked for prayers for the family.
Bob was Happy to have sold his house in Westport.
