The TASC YouthWorks students working to help the Taunton Rotary Club are asking for Rotarians to please fill out a short survey to help them gain some more knowledge on what the club is all about and how we can help the club gain more traction through social media. Another reminder that the District Conference is coming up. It will be virtual this year, and so a great opportunity to attend from home if you have never been able to attend before. The dates are April 29-May 1 and you can register by clicking here.
RYLA 2021 is going to be virtual, late July/early August. The club is willing to support up to 10 students from Taunton High Interact for that event and Debbie Logan is going to spread the word.
Our champion Spelling Bee team from 2 years ago have all agreed to spell for us again: Jody, Bob, and Joe! We wish them luck at the TASC Spelling Bee on April 29th!

At our most recent meeting...
At our most recent meeting, we welcomed Bob Hyldburg, statistician and author on the New England Patriots. Bob is the author of the best-selling "Total Patriots" book and the newly published "Relive Patriots History" book. He compiled the stats and figures for the Patriots All Time Roster interactive display at the Patriots Hall of Fame and has interacted and interviewed over 200 current and former players of the Patriots. He works to collaborate and implement his "Do Your Job and Do it Well" transformational training program for business leaders and executive sales teams.
Bob shared some stories from his many years working with the Patriots and we thank him for his friendly, engaging presentation to our club!
Our Venmo account is live! PLEASE: Include a note as to the purpose of your payment/funds, whenever using our new Venmo account!! The account is @Rotary-Taunton, but the visible name shows up as “Rotary Taunton Rotary Taunton.”
Zulmira shared that AHS had a successful first-time wine fundraiser recently, doubling their goal!
Rebecca promoted the Spelling Bee and shared that TASC is looking for both student spellers and businesses to participate. Please spread the word. Also, TASC will be doing a virtual auction soon, so stay tuned!
