Our most recent meeting was held at Stoneforge and was run by President Joe.

Thanks to everyone who could join our recent evening meeting at Sol de Mexico. Our next special meeting will be on February 22 at Pilgrim Church for a Million Dollar Meal.

A reminder that the next Board Meeting will take place on Zoom on February 13. Board members are expected to attend and club members are invited to attend. You can email Joe if you need the link.

Joe, Bob, and Jen are going to meet with members of the Kiwanis club on Friday about ways in which we may be able to collaborate in the future. If anyone is interested in joining, reach out to Jen or Joe for more info.

Also, a heads up: our speaker on 4/4 will be Ed Doherty presenting on his book Laugh, Lies, and American Justice. You can pre-order the book here and bring it with you to be signed at the 4/4 meeting if interested. He will NOT have copies with him that day.

Interact Update:

The Interact Club will host a blood drive on May 4th in the Taunton High School Main Lobby from 9-2. They will be looking for donors and volunteers to help with this service project. Please mark your calendars and save the date for this upcoming event!

...Dave Correia gave an update on Family Fun Day planning.

We covered entertainment, food truck options, parking needs, coordinating with Camp Riverside, promotion in the TMLP newsletter, and the need for a strong sponsorship push!

Dave has secured Premier sponsorships from Co-Operative Products and Mechanics Bank and additional sponsorships from Bluestone Bank and Carol Sullivan Real Estate. Please think about businesses that may be looking for sponsorship opportunities and use the links above!

Ongoing questions: Taunton High Food truck status, adding a face painter, QR code for pre-registration, what type of shuttle is best, and volunteer coordinating. Stay tuned for more updates, and thanks to Dave for all his work for this event.

Ed had a buck for an interesting trip to the social security office. He had to get a new card or else he wouldn't have been able to renew his license (which was news to him and most of us in the room!).
Will had a "Thank you" buck to members of the Rotary club for support during a very difficult time after his father's passing. He added a Happy Buck for his daughters. Sarah will be presiding over Taunton High's National Honors Society induction night as president, and Julia will be inducted in the incoming junior class. Congrats to the Mendoncas!
Jen shared her experience at a recent TACC "Coffee and Conversation" at Marc of Healing, an organization that helps with dealing with loss, for anyone that needs it. She added a happy buck for a home buyer seminar with great attendance.
John had a happy buck for an upcoming father-daughter sweetheart dance.
Joe had a Happy 5 Bucks, for the Celtics/Lakers game and for the resolution of his work in lapsed memberships.
