From the President

At our most recent meeting on August 2, 2018 President Joe Livingston reminded the group that will be doing an event with PRIDE in October. If you want to lead a class or activity you can talk to Joe or Joanne to set that up. Thanks to all who have already volunteered.

Also, for everyone who participated in Family Fun Day this year, there will be a debrief at an upcoming meeting. We definitely want to talk about successes and areas for improvement and look forward to hearing everyone's input.

Last Week's Speaker

At our most recent meeting, Sergeant-at-Arms Ed Fowler and President Joe Livingston presided over the installation and pinning ceremony of our newest Rotarian, Katie Dawkins of the Boys and Girls Club of Taunton.

We also enjoyed learning more about the personal and professional lives of recently-installed Rotarians Zulmira Allcock and Darrell Carlson with their classification talks.

It is great to have you all in the club, to get to you know, and we all look forward to working together.

Happy Bucks

Did you know that your happy and sad bucks help the club make a donation to the Rotary Foundation?

Al was very happy to announce that his youngest son recently got engaged. Congrats!
Dick had a happy buck to be back from his Dakotas vacation, where he finished his bucket list goal to visit all 50 states!
Rich had 5 bucks. Some were sad bucks for missing a few meetings recently, but most were happy that his daughter recently bought a house.
Dave had a happy buck because he just booked his next cruise for next year.
Ed had a happy buck for a great concert he and Jody attended with Elizabeth von Trapp.
Darrell had a happy buck for his college reunion this weekend.
Joe L. had a happy buck for his recent visit to Pocono Raceway. He also shared the new hat he bought, and he is happy that the house buying process is continuing along.
