At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...we welcomed club member Michael Cancilliere to present, but this time as a donation recipient on behalf of Cooperative Production. As President and CEO, Michael is in charge of carrying out the organization's mission "to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and brain injuries as valued members of their communities, with opportunities for meaningful participation in areas of personal pursuit."
We heard a bit about Michael's background and vision for CO-OP at his classification talk not too long ago, so, in thanks for the club's donation, Michael shared about a conversation he had in an interview for a new CFO recently. In talking about CO-OP and the work they do, he shared how it closely aligns with Rotary's motto of "Service Above Self." Furthermore, when organizations with like-minded goals collaborate, both are able to achieve more and Michael shared some of the connections and successes he has had through Rotary.
Thanks to Michael for presenting to the club, and we appreciate all the good work you do for our community!
Will shared an update buck that the Interact club is doing a Winter Coat Drive and are looking for gently used winter gear now through February school vacation. Also their raised $600 for Water for Cambodia from their chocolate bar campaign. Coming up they will participating in an MS Walk and making Valentines for residents of Marian Manor.

Dave C. had a Happy Buck that Ethan had a big hockey game and scored a couple of goals as his team advanced. He also had a Happy Buck for Dan who had been in intensive care and is back home.
