At our June 22th meeting, President-Elect Joe presided over the meeting. He mentioned how pleased he was with the result of Pancake and Family Fun Day and also shared Carol's comments that she also thought it went very well.

There will be a meeting of the Board of Directors on June 29th at 5:30 at Maureen Cody's house in Lakeville--thank you Maureen for hosting.

Please note, there will be NO MEETING on July 6th.

Kit thanked her committee and to all the prize donors for a successful raffle at Pancake and Family Fun Day. She had a total of 39 raffle prizes which generated $625 in income. The scratch ticket sales generated an additional $620, for a total of $1,245 exceeding her goal of $1000. Her note for next year--more kid-specific raffle prizes.

Dave C. was very pleased with how the compromise set up worked out. He has received checks from 90% of corporate sponsors. One indication of how well things went is the $596 in snow cone sales (of which we get 20%) which was higher than last year. Dave has received very positive feedback from vendors, all of whom would like to be involved again in the future. 

Finally, if you would like to spend a day with the young ladies visiting from Taunton, England please reach out to Ed's daughter Missy or wife Claire who are taking the lead in organizing the schedule. They will be here July 1 though July 13. 

• Dave C. had 20 happy bucks for the great success of Pancake and Family Fun Day.
• Johnny B. also had 20 happy bucks for Pancake and Family Fun Day and in particular all of the wonderful volunteers--including Rotarians!
• Russ M. had a happy buck in thanks for all of the efforts of those who put the event together.
• Phil had a happy/sad 5 bucks. He was happy to hear all the good things about the event but was sad to have missed it this year.
• Dick S. had 20 happy bucks for the recent groundbreaking of the new section of industrial park, and also for winning scratch ticket raffle. He won a total of $685 and even had a chance to share the process at a recent Kiwanis meeting to make sure that our fundraisers don't overlap.
• Joe L. had two happy bucks. He was happy for all the success of Rotary but also excited for the start of camp season.
• Ed F. was happy to have been able to work with Kit's son and Ryan's daughter at the raffle. He had a lot of fun and was glad that things went so well.
