**Please note** This week's meeting is back at Stoneforge!
Board Members, be on the lookout for an announcement about the first board meeting of the 2021-2022 Rotary Year. All members of the club are invited to attend, and board members are encouraged to attend.
Carol Sullivan shared some news articles from Rotarians and also mentioned that she is again collecting supplies for the Back to School Backpack donation she has spearheaded in recent years. Anyone who promo items (pens, pencils, notepads, etc.) that they would like to donate, please bring to a meeting for Carol to collect. She is looking to do 75 backpacks this year.

Save the date: District Installation Celebration 9/18
To recognize the accomplishments of what was a difficult but productive year and share ideas for the new, we’ll be hosting a District Installation Celebration at the Sea Crest Hotel in Falmouth RI on September 18th, at 5 pm. At this event we’ll toast the work of Immediate Past District Governor Charlene Jarest and her leadership team, hear a few words about what’s coming this fall, and view projects from around the District that clubs are particularly proud of. And of course, we’ll enjoy the camaraderie that is so vital a part of Rotary! I hope you’ll be able to join us. More information will follow shortly.
Club Presidents are encouraged to prepare a table-top display showcasing the project your club is most proud of. For more information, contact Governor Billy Roberts at billyrdg2021@gmail.com.
At our most recent meeting...
...we installed the Board of Directors for the 2021-2022 Rotary Year!
Congrats to all the incoming members of the board and thanks to those whose terms just finished for all of your work on behalf of the club.
Also, newly-installed President Bob Rezendes awarded Past President Dan LeBrun a pin and gavel for his service in 2020-2021. Thanks to Dan for all of his hard work during the club's 100th year!
Our Venmo account is live! PLEASE: Include a note as to the purpose of your payment/funds, whenever using our new Venmo account!! The account is @Rotary-Taunton, but the visible name shows up as “Rotary Taunton Rotary Taunton.”
