Guests
You can bring a guest to a Rotary meeting!
This week we welcomed:
  • Visiting Rotarian, Assistant District Governor, Charlene Jarest
Last Week's Speaker
Rich Volkmann ran the May 24th meeting. Rich introduced our Assistant District Governor Charlene Jarest who brought us up to speed regarding our 7950 District. Charlene spoke about the recent District Conference in Plymouth and what we can expect for District 7950's future. A lively Q & A followed.

Before Charlene's talk we did a quick update on Pancake and Family Fun Day planning. We need to sell ads. As soon as the material to be used is ready, sell, sell, sell. Pancake Placemat ads start at $50. Dave C. already has corporate sponsorships coming in. The event flyer is the header of this email, and a copy is on the website to be downloaded and shared. If you have a Rotary event sign, put it out! Kit is coordinating raffle table and themed baskets. If you want to donate a basket, please connect with Kit!

Happy Bucks
Did you know that your happy and sad bucks help the club make a donation to the Rotary Foundation?
  • John Beauchaine donated several Happy Bucks, $1 in honor of DG Charlene's visit, $1 for Joe Mitchell's beloved Boston Celtics, and $1 because he was happy to be at Rotary.
  • DG Charlene contributed a Happy Buck because she was happy to be visiting with us.
  • Dave Correia tossed in some Happy Bucks to tell us about his recent Family Vacation. There were many humorous episodes during his vacation.
