Club News & Announcements

**A note of thanks from Katie: This week's Bulletin was made possible by Mike Tabak. He went above and beyond in taking the notes at the meeting, and then battling ClubRunner through some technical glitches. Thank you, Mike. It is much appreciated.

President Bob gave the membership some updates and information regarding Club activities:

A membership satisfaction survey has been emailed to all Club members and to date the response is approximately 50%. If you haven't responded please do so asap.

President Bob attended the District 7950 President's Meeting held this past Tuesday. One of the major topics was membership and recruitment. There has been a steady decline of Rotary members in our district and many new ideas were discussed regarding this issue. The pandemic did not help attendance but Zoom meeting were fairly successful.

Foundation Chair Joe Mitchell shared a Rotary minute with us regarding Rotary International's role in Peace Building. RI is very engaged in all aspects of world peace initiatives and programs through dialogue, education, exchange programs, the Peace Scholarship program, etc..

Carol Sullivan passed around some news articles from the Taunton Daily Gazette showcasing many of our Club's members and their organizations.
