There will be a Rotary Christmas tree on Church Green as part of the Forest of Light. Hopefully, everyone will take the opportunity to see it when it's up.
The Interact Club will be running a post-Thanksgiving food drive. There will be a collection on December 8th but feel free to start collecting now if you'd like to contribute. They are looking to collect the following items:
Individual Packed Servings of Fruit Cups; Cereal; Cookies; Crackers; Granola Bars; Breakfast Bars; Lunchables; Juice boxes as well as Hygiene products(single): Paper towels; Toilet paper; Napkins; Hand sanitizer; Toothpaste, and Feminine Products.
Dan has Randolph/Avon club raffle tickets if anyone would like to purchase some for $20 each. Just get in touch with Dan!
A “Rotary Express” on Dec. 17th will have Santa deliver gifts to roughly 20 Head Start children when he visits 7-8 local homes! Santa (Joe Livingston) – and possibly Mrs. Clause (Joe’s wife Jen) will travel via Head Start mini-school bus to bring Holiday cheer and create lifelong memories. To support this effort you can either send a check to our PO Box 344, or make your contribution in one minute via VENMO [account name: @Rotary-Taunton; & add “for kids gifts” as a note!]
President Dan sends his best wishes for a happy and safe Thanksgiving to all next Thursday!
At our most recent meeting...
At our most recent meeting, we were joined by Maggie DaSilva of Assisted Living Locators. Exploring senior living options can be confusing and time-consuming. Assisted Living Locators Care Advisors are in your community and work closely with you to guide you through the process from beginning to end—answering your questions and addressing your concerns, helping you feel confident and comfortable with your decisions. Maggie is clearly passionate about her work and a great local resource. For anyone who may be interested in learning more about her services, you can visit https://assistedlivinglocators.com/.
Our Venmo account is live! PLEASE: Include a note as to the purpose of your payment/funds, whenever using our new Venmo account!! The account is @Rotary-Taunton, but the visible name shows up as “Rotary Taunton Rotary Taunton.”
Zulmira had a buck to welcome Maggie as our speaker. She has 2 sad bucks that turned into happy bucks: one was for her dog's ACL surgery which was challenging but is now improving. The second was for her Aunt who tested positive for Covid-19, at age 90, but is now doing well and asymptomatic.

Give the gift of Rotary
Each November and December, The Rotary Foundation appeals to current and prospective donors to give the gift of Rotary. This campaign focuses on demonstrating the impact that a donation to the Foundation of any size can have. You can help us by sharing this digital flyer, encouraging members to give, or leading the way by making a contribution yourself.
