There is an upcoming "Family Feud-style" fundraiser at the Elks and we have been asked to participate with a Rotary team. The winning team will get to choose where raised funds will be donated to. This event is coming up fast on August 22, so if you are interested in participating, please reach out to Bob! We need about 5 people to field a team.
A reminder that Carol is again collecting supplies for the Back to School Backpack donation she has spearheaded in recent years. Anyone who promo items (pens, pencils, notepads, etc.) that they would like to donate, please bring to a meeting for Carol to collect. She is looking to do 75 backpacks this year.

...we welcomed our newest member Shavon Tolson. Shavon recently joined Associates for Human Services and gave her classification talk to the club so that we could get to know her a little better. Both organizations are lucky to have you, Shavon, and welcome!

Will had a happy buck to be back after some vacation, and for recently joining Bristol County Savings Bank, a great community bank that he is excited to be a part of.

John D. had a happy buck for his daughter's 4th birthday and a happy buck for Nerds To Go adding "another nerd to the herd" with a staff baby being born!
Dick had an excited for Will joining BCSB buck. He also had an info buck for Taunton Culinary Arts winning the $10,000 prize from a D'Angelo's challenge. He has an upcoming vacation to Yellowstone in 2 weeks, and was also happy that his 18-year-old minivan passed inspection.
Julie had 2 happy bucks for her eldest son and herself celebrating landmark birthdays, in particular they enjoyed a great meal in the North End. She also had a sad buck for people in her sphere who are struggling now and have passed away from cancer.
Bob Hunt had a sad buck for Mark Allen and wife Olga who recently lost their 41-year old son to colon cancer.
Ed shared a happy buck for Claire who is doing well. Recent scans showed really positive news and that chemo is working well!
Dan had a happy buck for Will, and a happy buck for a pleasant recent vacation to New Hampshire which included a nice birthday celebration with friends.
Harry added in a happy buck for Will.
