 President's Announcements

We recently lost a former Rotarian, and all-around wonderful person, Norman Dunphe. Norm passed away on November 18th after a brief illness, at age 91. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Norm's obituary is online at: http://www.hathawayfunerals.com/obits/obituaries.php/obitID/897042.

President Carol reminded the club that next week's meeting is the Annual Christmas lunch meeting which will take place at Taunton High School. Lunch will start promptly at 12 noon and we will be getting out a little earlier than usual. There will be the playing of the Rotary horn, a concert from the THS band, and lunch organized thanks to Ed Fowler.

We also have the Children's Christmas Party on the evening of December 8 at 5 pm at the Pilgrim Church. We are collecting money for donations for toys and hope many Rotarians can make it to this event.

Joe  Mitchell is working on a member Directory, so please check in at the sergeant-at-arms desk to confirm we have the right contact information for you. If not, make the appropriate edits so Joe can get the Directory finished.

Finally, don't forget to sell raffle tickets. Turn in your tickets as you sell them so we can start to get a count on how many have been sold and how many are left to go.
