 President's Announcements

 
President Carol Sullivan started the meeting by thanking all veterans for their service, in honor of Veterans Day.

Carol reminded the club of the upcoming Children's Christmas Party will be the evening of December 8 at 5 pm. Santa is on board and all other plans are in motion. The club is collecting donations for toys this week, and we are looking forward to another great annual Rotary event.

Ed Fowler reminded the club about the Annual Christmas lunch which will be held at noon on December 8, 2016 at Taunton High School. Lots of fun, delicious food, heart warming entertainment, wonderful camaraderie, and a great Rotary Christmas tradition. Ed will need a head count by November 17, 2016. All guests and spouses are most welcome.

  • Scratch Ticket Raffle is on! The winner will receive One Hundred $10.00 scratch tickets. The raffle will be pulled on a date to be announced.

  • Rotary Foundation Centennial Dinner, Thursday, November 17 at Venus de Milo, 75 Grand Army Highway,Swansea, MA 02777. More information can be found here. This will serve as the Board's meeting for November.

Program Speaker

At the November 10th meeting, Kit Tunney was the Program Chair. We welcomed Kim Murphy, Executive Director of TCAM TV. Kim updated the club on highlights from 2016 and offered ways people can get involved with their own show. Kim answered a number of questions and even shared news of their new green screen technology! It was a pleasure to welcome Kim back to the club!


For this week's meeting Linda Quinn and Jessica Costa, new members, will be giving their Classification talks. Please join us to welcome our new Rotarians to the club!
