At our most recent meeting...
...we enjoyed a presentation from Taunton High School Principal Scott Holcomb. Scott shared some updates of the great things going on at Taunton High including:
a grant from BCSB for a catering truck for the culinary department and expansion of the Tiger Cafe
plans for a playground area to be built to support the Tiger Tots early childhood care certification program
the return of student internships
the auditorium getting a new projector
statewide rankings going up
the partnership with Manet for a Community Health Center at high school
and more!

Happy/Sad Bucks
Jody had 3 happy bucks. He was happy for another year of life. Happy to be back at a Rotary meeting after some absences. And happy for Scott Holcomb being here today.
Will had happy/sad/happy bucks. He was happy to have volunteered with the Interact Club at their Tunnel to Towers 5K at Fort Adams recently. He has had some health situations within his family recently. And was also happy to have Scott with us today as our guest speaker.
Dick had a happy buck for the recent success of the Liberty & Union Festival last Saturday. And promo'd the lecture at OCHM on Camp Myles Standish that evening.
Katie had a happy buck for Dick and his promos, and a thanks to all the Rotary support at the festival.
Julie had a happy buck for the Taunton Businesswomen's Group being able to meet at the OCHM for their meetings.
