Ed Fowler let us know that the students in England are very busy! Carolan Kelley and Molly Desrochers left on July 5th. So far they have visited the seaside, Coleridge Cottage, and Dunster Castle. They have also traveled to Burrow Mump, had afternoon tea, and attended A Midsummer's Night Dream in Stratford upon Avon. They were just about to embark on three days in London when Ed gave his update, and also have a trip to Somerset, Dartmoor, and Bristol upcoming! We continue to look forward to their recap at the August 11 meeting.

John B. was sad about the latest twist in Tom Brady's unjust legal distractions. But the silver lining is that his wife says Tom's replacement is even cuter.
Dave T. had a sad/update buck to let that club know that George Mendros was in a car accident a week ago. He was happy to report that George is home resting and in good spirits.
Phil R. had a combo buck. He is happy that his family is visiting from Bangkok for 5 weeks, but sad they couldn't come to the meeting today.

At the July 14th meeting, President Carol Sullivan was the Program Chair. She arranged for Eang Tan, Director and Pra Ajan Tee, Vice President of Wat Nawamintararachutis NMR Meditation Center to visit with us. Mr. Tan shared a video about the planning and construction of the NMR Meditation Center along with some background about the project. He explained the temple's importance, particularly to Buddhists in the United States. He also shared pictures from recent events and his wish that the temple serve the local community in any way they can be helpful.
For this week's meeting Dan Lebrun is the Program Chair. He has arranged for former professional football player and current New England Patriots scout, Steve Cargile to present.
