Our most recent meeting was held at Stoneforge. President Bob began the meeting by acknowledging Dave Correia and all his hard work volunteered in support of Family Fun Day.
We were pleased to welcome a number of guests:
Katie's guest Ana Rodrigues
Julie's daughter, Samantha
Julie's colleague and friend, Maria
Marc's guest, Sarah Campbell from PRIDE.
A reminder that our June 29th meeting will be at the Jockey Club, and it will be the Installation of Officers for the 2024-2025 Rotary Year. Please join us if you are able.
President-Elect Joe Mitchell shared a Rotary Foundation Minute.
We also enjoyed a pinning ceremony for our newest member, Marc Mauricio. Marc is the Executive Director of PRIDE Inc. and we are thrilled to welcome you to Rotary.
At our most recent meeting...
...we welcomed Joe Rand and Tony from Adult & Teen Challenge New England & New Jersey. Joe shared his personal experience with the program, which is a faith-based addiction treatment program with sixty years of experience.
Residents receive clinical counseling, both recovery and life coaching, classroom studies, and vocational training in several career opportunities. Tony shared that some of the cutting boards that are made in the vocational training, also serve to support the organization. He also invited Rotarians to join their upcoming golf fundraiser, in support of the program. We appreciate their work, their presentation, and for joining us on short notice. Thanks to Julie, for coordinating!
