Our most recent meeting was held on Thursday, August 15th at noon at Stoneforge. It was led by President George Mendros.
We welcomed Becky Mello, Carol Sullivan's guest, and Rotary District 7950 District Governor-Elect, Nicole Brien.

The 10th Annual Rotary Club of Taunton Family Fun Day, has been scheduled at Camp Riverside for Saturday, June 14, 2025.
At our most recent meeting...
...0ur speaker for the day was Monica Lombardo from the Boys and Girls Club of Metro South. Monica shared that the club is celebrating the 5th anniversary of the merger of the Taunton and Brockton clubs. Monica highlighted the smooth yet busy transition from summer camp into the after-school programs, which continue to be a cornerstone of their services. The cost remains affordable at $35 per year per child, and the club provides an impressive 150,000 meals annually. For operational hours, the Brockton location runs from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, while the Taunton site is open until 8:00 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Monica also shared an update on the many positive developments within the club and emphasized their need for volunteers to support their ongoing initiatives. We appreciate hearing about this great work, and thank Monica for joining us for lunch!
Mike C. shared that invitations for the Co-op Gala are on the table. The event is September 12, and this year's silent auction includes a Taylor Swift guitar and a Jayson Tatum jersey.
Nicole Brien had a happy buck because she was glad to join us today.
Carol had a happy buck for Becky joining us, a happy buck to be here herself, and an info buck for Raynham Community Day coming up on September 15.
Olivia had a happy buck to be at the meeting after a few weeks away, and a second buck for Monica being our speaker today.
Dave C. had a happy buck for Colonial Donuts being back, and a happy buck for a vacation to Myrtle Beach next week.
Will also had a happy buck for Colonial Donut's return. He had a happy buck to be at today's meeting. and a buck for his daughter who is off to college on Sunday!
Ed had some unique dollars. The first was for our waitress, Ritz, who commutes one day a week from Worcester to work at Stoneforge! And the second was to learn that at cemeteries, they use pennies as spacers to level headstones.

Mike Tabak did not win the 50/50 raffle. The pot is $316.
