Our most recent meeting was held on May 2 at Stoneforge, and led by President Joe. We will have a vote of the Rotary Membership on June 6 regarding our proposed by-laws. Please attend and make your vote heard. Also, our cognac raffle is now live. We have 50 tickets available for $10 each. Joe also shared that Enid Frances (Frank) Antine, 88, of Taunton, passed away after a long illness on Monday, April 22, 2024. She was the wife of fifty-four years to the late Willam “Bill” Antine who was a well-loved member of our club. Condolences to the Antine family.
We welcomed Colleen Wellman, from AHS, and Sharon Johnson, Rotary District 7950 Governor-elect, as our guests. Sharon shared that the incoming Rotary International President is from Pennsylvania and her theme will be "The Magic of Rotary." We are all invited to Sharon's installation on June 23rd. And she also encouraged us to check out Rotary7950.org which has been revamped and updated with resources for us to use.

Here is the info if you know someone who may be a sponsor:
Use this Sponsorship Ask to start the conversation. If interested, a business can learn more and select their level with the Sponsorship Form. If they are interested, but looking for a smaller commitment, share the Ad Form.
These forms can all be found on our club website, and will continue to be linked in this space through the event! Please keep Dave in the loop as you secure sponsors and ads. And be sure to reach out with any questions. Our fundraising goal is only possible if everyone participates in the process!
At our most recent meeting...
...we welcomed Alex Crisman of The Purpose Locker Foundation. Alex started The Purpose Locker Foundation with his brother following the COVID-19 pandemic. From their website, https://www.purposelocker.org/:
"The Purpose Locker Foundation believes that each and every individual should have access to free hygiene supplies. With the creation of our “locker” system, we hope to supply areas in need with these supplies, while creating easier access to them in the process.
Each of our lockers are roughly 3x3x6 feet and are hand crafted by the organization. In each locker you will find a steadfast supply of different bodily, hair, oral, and feminine hygiene products. These products, as well as hats, socks, gloves, and blankets, will help individuals who are living in a homeless or lower economic state.
We EMPHASIZE the point of easier access with each locker being open and available to all users 24 hours a day (site permitted). Our goal is to bring awareness that in this day and age cleanliness is another level to survival. Without the ability to be clean, the individuals we are trying to help may lose out on tools and resources to pull themselves up from the situation they are currently in."
Their motto is "When life is tough, here’s stuff." Thank you to Alex for sharing his vision with us and we wish him luck with The Purpose Locker Foundation.
