Our most recent club meeting was held on May 21 at Stoneforge and led by President Bob Rezendes.
Dave gave a Family Fun Day update: He is officially circulating the volunteer sign-up sheet. A special thank you to Jack Leddy for donating placemats.
Will gave an Interact update: Three Interact students attended RYLA leadership camp this past weekend, sponsored by the club. They will be invited to our end-of-year celebration to share updates on their experience.

Together with the Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters, we will have a table at the Taunton River Festival on June 14. We need volunteers at the table, so if you are free and able, let Bob know.
Our end-of-year celebration is confirmed for Thursday, June 26 at Ward 5.

At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...we welcomed Kimberly Rioux, who shared the impact of mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts and the organization’s growing work across Southeastern Massachusetts.
Members learned that becoming a mentor requires just four hours a month outside of school hours and a minimum one-year commitment. Children are typically enrolled between ages 7–12, and mentor matches are made through a detailed compatibility process designed to create lasting, successful connections.
Kim also emphasized that the organization is always looking for new mentors, accepts referrals, and involves parents or caregivers throughout the enrollment process.
Michael C. was happy for Rotary attendees at the gala and happy to learn that his wife and Bob’s wife worked together over 20+ years ago.
Carol contributed 6 happy bucks: 3 to clear her IOUs. The others were because she was happy she enjoyed a great time at the Co-Op Gala with Becky, Lola, and herself.
Ed had a happy buck for Dave looking to buy a house near a cemetery so his wife can have fresh flowers every day. Also shared a sad buck in memory of Mike Quinn, who passed away in Florida last Friday.
Mike T. reflected on Mike Quinn as a strong community event organizer and supporter of free concerts. Shared a story of surprising him with a concert on his last day as president, featuring “Michael Rowed the Boat Ashore.”
Dick had a happy buck for the upcoming Taunton River Festival on June 14. He also shared updates from the TDC meeting, including the first Judith Cleathro Scholarship award among seven scholarships presented this morning. He noted that over $160,000 has been awarded over the years.
