Too numerous to mention this week! The following donated Happy and Sad Bucks to out coffers ranging from $1 to many contributions of $20! Most Happy Bucks were to welcome the THS Interact members, their guests, our District Governor Elect, the New England Patriots, accomplishments of family and friends, and "glad to be at Rotary" bucks. Donations were made by Beth Teixeira, John Beauchaine, Christine Kelly, Dan LeBrun, Ed Fowler, Bob Hunt, Willits Mendonca, David Correia, Zulmira Allcock, Joe Mitchell, and Joe Livingston. News From Rotary International

Recent news from the Rotary Foundation:

So what the heck is a Million Dollar Meal?

The Million Dollar Meal is a way to give to the Rotary Foundation. The Million Dollar Meal concept was started in 1959 by a club in our district (Stoughton).  It is now an established part of Rotary International fundraising for The Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Club of Taunton has one Million Dollar Meal each year hosted at the Pilgrim Congregational Church. With the meal prepared by the Hunts, Fowlers, Mike Tabak, and others, the Club is able to donate the normal lunch fee to The Rotary Foundation.

This is a fun annual event, and at the Meal you'll hear a lot more about its history and impact around the world.
