President Joe thanked the Rev. Martin committee for the successful event last week. Joe then reminded the group of the Board meeting later on 5/19.
Ed reported that there are five kids interested in the Rotary exchange program for this year. We are able to send two and the committee will be deciding in the next couple of weeks on final arrangements.
The installation of next year's officers will be coming up soon and so all members should plan to attend.
As of last week's meeting pancakes were only 23 days away! Kit reported that raffles are on track. She will need two six foot tables if anyone has any. Dave reminded everyone that entertainment is all lined up. He also reported that the top levels of Corporate sponsors have been sold! There are still a few of the other slots left, and he'd like to sell everything. Carol reported that the ads are starting to come in. She would like each Rotarian to sell two ads, so please sell, sell, sell. Rich gave a food update. Food will be the same as what is sold at the Raynham Flea. Storage is all set with the high school. Grills have been rented. We are only paying for what we sell, so it is no risk. Banner and lawn signs will be ready soon. Joe P. had flyers ready to be posted. A Facebook page is set up and press release has been sent to the paper.
President Joe will be going to the Water for Cambodia event next week and Rotary will be making a contribution.

Joe P. had an announcement buck that he's accepted a new job with the Department of Children and Families in Attleboro. He'll be leaving ProHome and leaving the club.
Dick shared an information buck for the "Music in the Grove" event at Boyden on Sunday 5/22.
Rick had a sad buck for having to attend two funerals on Thursday.
Carol Souza had a happy buck just to be here.
George had an announcement buck that he'll host people at his house after Pancake and Family Fun Day. He also had a happy buck to see Jan (but Russ paid this one).
Mike had a thanks buck to Ed, Rick, Carol, Jody, and Claire Fowler for Rev. Martin Day. And happy bucks for seeing Carol Souza, Mike Quinn, and Jan Alden.

Mike Quinn had a happy buck for being at the meeting. He also had a sad buck because he just found out his house will be the "after prom" house this year. And another happy buck for his friend Maureen and all her hard work.
Dave C. had an update buck that Joe Baptista won about $1000 on his scratch tickets.
Joe M.'s bucks were happy for seeing Mike Quinn. Happy for the event last week. Happy that the Celtics for the 3rd pick in the draft. And he offered an acknowledgement/sad buck for the robbery at Bridgewater Savings Bank last week.
This week's program chair was Maureen Cody. Speaking on behalf of the Scholarship Committee, which includes Mike Quinn, Maureen was pleased to announce this year's contributions to the Chamber's teacher recognition program and to the Boys and Girls Club camp.
As this is the 15th scholarship program in the club's history, Ed Fowler gave an encore presentation of his explanation of Rotary. Rick Conti also gave an explanation of the Shelter Box program. Maureen then awarded the Rotary Scholarship to this year's recipient, Hailey Alden. Congratulations Hailey!
