At our most recent meeting...
...we welcomed Bill Roth, Executive Director of the Office of Economic and Community Development for the City of Taunton who gave a presentation on Taunton community development updates.
Bill is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Landscape Architecture. Bill has 30 years of experience in Municipal Government, in the field of Planning and Economic Development. He has worked in South Carolina, Washington State, Oregon and the last 20 year have been in Massachusetts. In Massachusetts he was planning and Economic Development Director for the Town of Fairhaven for 17 years, Fall River’s City Planner for 2 years and has been Taunton’s Office of Economic and Community Development (OECD) Executive Director since March of 2020. He lives in Fairhaven with his wife Paige and has twin daughters in college. In his free time Bill enjoys Triathlons and will be competing in his second Full Distance Ironman race this October in Indiana.
