Happy & Sad Bucks
Dick shared an update on the Taunton River Festival, reporting that it was a great day. Mark your calendars for next year's festival on June 13!
George was happy to recognize Dave T. for helping him move furniture, even bringing moving blankets and other supplies, and making a dump run. "What a Rotarian!"
Joe M. contributed a happy buck for Bob's year of leadership and another for Jenn wishing her success in the year ahead.
Dave C. happily announced receiving a check and letter from Grieco, putting Family Fun Day fundraising over the top. The event has now surpassed its goal, raising $20,025!
Santina enjoyed a wonderful day at the River Festival and was especially pleased to have sold some of her own artwork there.
Carol Sullivan owed three happy bucks: one for Bob, one for Jenn, and one for a recent trip to New Hampshire to visit her daughter, Meaghan. Along the way, she stopped in Gardner, Massachusetts, to see the famous 20-foot chair donated by Rotary.
Dave T. offered a happy buck for Bob and another for Jenn, along with a "sad buck" noting that moving furniture with a very tall person can be quite a challenge!
Ed shared a happy buck celebrating the Taunton High School girls' softball team, as well as his granddaughter's team, which won its second tournament in a row.
This Week's Winners:
Carol Souza won the scratch ticket this week.
Zulmira did not win the 50/50 raffle.
