Past-President Dan filled in to lead this week's meeting and gave the membership some updates and information regarding Club activities:
The Rotary Scholarship announcement has been sent out to Greater Taunton area high school guidance departments. It is also available for download on our Club's website under Home Page Download Files. If you know of any students heading to school please share this with them. We are looking forward to making awards this year and celebrating deserving students as a belated part of our 100th anniversary celebration.
A reminder that Fall River Club's 100th Anniversary Gala is April 9 for anyone interested.

At our most recent meeting...
We welcomed two guests to our most recent meeting.
Julie had issued an invitation to James from the Boy Scouts of America Narragansett Council and John brought his colleague Chris from Nerds to Go. We welcomed both and hope to see them at future meetings!
And then we spelled! Sometimes successfully and sometimes not. "Team 2" of Julie, Harry, and Dick came out on top. This was just a warmup though, so anyone interested in officially representing Rotary at the TASC Spelling Bee on April 27 is invited and encouraged to participate. Zulmira or Shavon can share all the details at a future meeting. (Jody, we're all looking at you!)
Happy/Sad Bucks
Johnny B. had a sad buck for missing meetings recently, a happy buck for being at the meeting today, and 3 bucks for Ukraine.
Dan read some of the Interact Bucks from our 100th!
Julie had 5 happy bucks. One was for James joining out meeting, one was for a the recent Cranberry County Chamber Annual Meeting, and the others were for benefitting from the crazy used car market when she just traded in her car.
Zulmira had a sad buck for Shavon not being able to be here to run the spelling bee, but happy that the Rotary club is participating again this year.
Ed had a "hello" buck from Christine Kelly who sends her best wishes to all and her regrets that her schedule doesn't allow her to attend meetings.
Dan had a buck for his grandson who is having a great time in the Y youth basketball league, and a buck for Providence College currently still alive and all the way to the Sweet 16 in the March Madness NCAA tournament.
