Our most recent club meeting was held on April 23 at Stoneforge and was led by President Bob. We had the pleasure of one guest, Carol's daughter, Becky.
Bob shared that our club was well represented at the District Assembly. We appreciate the four members who took the time on a Saturday to attend.
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Joanne Rose, beloved wife of longtime Rotarian Harry Rose. Joanne passed away on April 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and family devotion. The Rotary Club of Taunton extends its heartfelt condolences to Harry and his family during this difficult time. Joanne’s memory will remain in the thoughts of all who knew her, and we hold Harry and his loved ones in our collective support.
Our extended Rotary family lost another member last week. Rosamond "Roz" Helfand passed away at the age of 99. She was the wife of the late Israel Helfand, a longtime Rotarian. We send our best wishes to her loved ones.

Our end-of-year celebration is confirmed for Thursday, June 26 at Ward 5.
The Interact Club is running a sock drive. Donations of new socks can be brought to any upcoming meeting, and we will ensure they are delivered to Interact members for distribution.

At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...we were pleased to welcome Julie Masci, Mary Pat Tranter, and Jill O’Brien from Morton Hospital to our recent Rotary meeting. They shared an engaging and informative presentation highlighting the important work happening at Morton Hospital and the impact it continues to have on our local community.
The discussion offered valuable insight into current initiatives, patient care priorities, and ongoing efforts to expand access to high-quality healthcare in our region. Their presentation also underscored the strong connection between Morton Hospital and the communities it serves.
It was great to hear about all the wonderful things happening at Morton Hospital since becoming part of Brown University Health, and the positive momentum and growth that has come with that transition.
Carol Sullivan was happy to have Becky with her as her guest. And she was sad that Pro Home is closing having spent more than 20 years on the Board of Directors.
Jody was happy to be at the meeting after a recent serious illness. He was also sad about the closure of Pro Home at the end of April.
